9. With all settings being properly
done, click the "Encode " button
in the main interface or choose "Encode checked Item(s)"
in the File menu to start ripping. In general, the default when you
load a DVD is that all titles/chapters are checked.
If you want to encode certain title, please click to make it highlighted, then choose "Encode Current Item" in the File menu.
If you want to encode from specific starting position, please drag the block under the preview window to the scene you want to begin with (Noting: The function will rip the DVD from the current scene to the end), then choose "Encode From Current Position" in the File menu. |

| If you want to encode chapter(s), please select "Encode Chapters..."
in File menu, or click the button which is marked by a triangle and
select "Encode Chapters...". In the pop-up window, select the chapter
you want to rip from left area and press the "Create Volume"
button. You also can add several chapters to the right area, and Xilisoft
DVD Ripper will save each chapter as an independent file. Additionally,
you can combine any several chapters to a file even the chapters aren't
next to each other. Select several chapters by pressing "Ctrl", click
"Create Volume" button, then Xilisoft DVD Ripper will merge the chapters
as a file. |

| If you want to encode segment, choose "Encode Segment"
in the File menu, then enter the beginning time and the duration of
the clip. For example, you want a clip from 00:20:20 to 00:35:00,
you should enter From 00:20:20 and the Length is 00:14:40, after that,
click the "Encode" button. |

| Note: During ripping, please
don't run other large program to avoid lowering ripping speed. |
