How to convert music to suit your PSP

PSP Music - PSP MP3 converter

Convert Audio CDs or audio files to PSP music:

First of all, you need download the latest version of Xilisoft CD Ripper and/or Xilisoft PSP Video Converter and install them/it.

To convert audio CDs to MP3, launch Xilisoft CD Ripper, load your audio CD, select "Lame MP3 Encoder"; for your PSP and click the "Extract and Encode" button in the "File" menu to convert CD. (See step 6 for transferring MP3 file to PSP)

To convert audio files to PSP MP3, Launch Xilisoft PSP Video Converter, load the file(s) by clicking the "Add" button in the main interface or choose "Add" in the File menu.

Highlight the loaded file(s) and choose output format from "Profile" combo-box. Here, you must select "PSP Audio Format (.mp3)" for your PSP. Click "Browse..." button to select folder or entering the path directly to decide where to save the output file. "C:temp" is the default one.

Click "Encode" to start converting. Once the conversion is complete, you will get the .mp3 file(s).

How to put music on the PSP or transfer your music to PSP - transfer MP3 file to PSP? Just connect your PSP with PC, and copy your mp3 file(s) into "H:PSPMUSIC" (where "H" is the drive letter of your PSP).
